25 before 25 and more to come!

It's been a while since I posted here, as...well I haven't been overseas for a while. Unfortunately on my last trip, I did also go to the UK and straight into a cruise to Vanuatu, and New Caledonia, however was fatigued and never ended up blogging about them.. something to give myself a boost up the bum for next time.

As much as I write these blogs for everyone to be up to date with everything I get up to on my adventures, I also do them for myself, so that years later, I can go back and read through my journey's.

Either way, I am just letting you know that I am gearing up for an epic adventure now... April 15th, 2014 I will be departing the wonderfulness that is Melbourne on a one way ticket. I will be starting in America for several weeks (made a pact to do vegas for our 25th birthday, reuniting the 3 lovely girls I went to Europe with at 18...the ones that helped me spark my love for travel), Eurovision in Denmark (ofcourse) and finally settling into the UK for a while.

After that...well, my plans are to go wherever the winds may take me in the world (and my funds ofcourse), working and travelling and loving life to the full.

Now, as the blog title says, someone told me a story about how they wanted to see 25 countries before their 25th birthday, and I loved the idea so much, I thought I would do the same... I have 6 months until my 25th birthday (vegas!) and only one country to go... and lucky for me, I will be hitting up Myanmar (or Burma for those who didn't realise that the name was changed years ago..like me) to do the Thai-Burma railway hike with my dad in February.

So..here is my list currently...

** february 2014

now, it is possible that I may have hit 25 already if you count Paraguay, which we crossed the border into for a market for several hours...does this count if you didn't require a passport stamp? If so, Burma/Myanmar will be the 26th country! I am still pondering over that one.... If you have thoughts on it, let me know!

Alright my lovely people, no doubt I will speak more as the countdown rolls in...

Much love,
B xo
